NHK ni Youkoso! Review

Story: The story is...weird, but true. All of us here (I believe) know the feeling of just sitting in front of the computer all day long, be it playing MMORPG or watching anime. Some of us do it because we enjoy it (from this idea came Genshiken). Some of us do it to escape the world and from this idea came NHK.

Characters: Yes they are overdone, but that is the point of them. From the over otaku to the angel to the hikikomori. Yet behind these overdone masks there are times when we could see their underlying self. A person who is simply afraid of what other people think of him (god knows I've been in that position a lot). A wise yet twisted person, who seeks to escape, but knew the truth (been there too). A person who rescues others, because they feel that they need to, and actually just wanted to be love (What the heck, I've went trough all of this. Go figures). I'll say excellent character design

Art: Not the best, but good enough so I have nothing to complain about, really...

Favorite moment: When Misaki did Freud's psycho analysis (poor girl). That was Hilarious. -AND- "However depressing or painful... we would still return to this idiotic life."

This is a new character. I'm not exactly sure what the story for her will be. I'm thinking that everyone has the wooden wings. The wooden wings are pretty much useless. I'm thining of writing up a story that is based on what we think useless/troubling emotions are, and how no matter how useless they are, it's still a part of us.

Or I could just leave it as a drawing. I really like this drawing...though probably something is wrong with the lower half of her body...

Mika in all her glory

This is one of my earlier drawings of Lucis Angeli before the fight with Shadowsong
